Our Story

My name is Jessica and I have a passion for health care. As a Practice Manager for many years I was highly focused on growing our practice while maintaining exceptional patient care and high client retention. While any healthcare provider has it’s challenges at times, one thing that consistently impacted both revenue growth and customer satisfaction was our outsourced billing operations. Delayed filings, high claims rejection rates, and poor resubmission success created large fluctuations in cash flow and inhibited our revenue growth. Both our staff and patients consistently complained about our billing department being unfriendly or altogether unresponsive. Our billers were more focused on the shortest path to personal profit than delivering a quality experience that benefits our patients and grows our practice. I knew there was a better way.

I decided to make a career change and go back to school to acquire billing expertise and my certification and ultimately start my own company. AZMedBill now delivers medical billing and coding services to small and medium businesses that are looking for a strategic billing partner that acts as an extension of their practice… with a key focus on business growth, maximum reimbursement, and a phenomenal experience for their patents and staff. My experience managing a practice, reading and finding errors in charts, and my understanding of the importance of exceptional patient care gives us a unique advantage that results in a more engaging partnership with low error rates, maximum re-imbursement efficiency, and happy customers.
